I was looking for hearing aid for my 90 years old grandma for some time and just couldn't justify a purchase of some $1200-$1600 product that might not even be the right one for her. My grandma used to shout a lot. Talking to her was like talking to somebody with earplugs or headset on listening music. She could hear some noise but didn't understand what was said so we had to shout as well. It was very difficult to talk to her and she would say "yes" to almost everything. I wear two hearing. My son works at night so we must keep the television low as not to disturb him.
